Starfish Ministry/ August Event – August 26th
We are going out to People’s Park August the 26th at 1:30 PM. Please do not donate any clothes at this time. However, we are asking for personal hygiene supplies and first aid supplies, like band aids, ointment, no drugs except maybe unopened bottle of aspirins. We will probably do pizza’s again but looking at maybe doing hotdogs. Remember Jesus attended the needs then preached the kingdom of heaven. Please join the Starfish Ministry in taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the streets. Know we are praying for you; from the Starfish Ministry and the Prayer Team.
1 Samuel 12:23 As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. (NIV) Many times over in our Father’s Word he does ask for a relationship with you and for you to never cease to pray for others. Remember church we are Christ body.
Your Prayer Team is praying that you come and join your prayer team every Sunday morning for prayer at 8 am. We are meeting in the Library. You do not have to be a prayer warrior; you don’t even have to know how to pray! Come and check out your team and we will, with the Lord’s help teach you to pray. If you are already a prayer warrior, AWESOME!!! We need you.
