1 Samuel 12:23 As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. (NIV) Many times over in our Father’s Word he does ask for a relationship with you and for you to never cease to pray for others. Remember church we are Christ body.
Your Prayer Team is praying that you come and join your prayer team every Sunday morning for prayer at 8 am. We are meeting in the Library. You do not have to be a prayer warrior; you don’t even have to know how to pray! Come and check out your team and we will, with the Lord’s help teach you to pray. If you are already a prayer warrior, AWESOME!!! We need you.

Starfish; the Ministry of Evangelism - June 3rd, 2012 1:00 p.m.
We are planning on going to People’s Park right after second service. We plan on being set up by 1:00 and serving pizza and have a clothing give away. We do have 2 new canopies, so rain or shine we go and only cancelling if severe weather approaches. Anyone wanting to give clothes to the homeless, the needy, including women and children, there is a donation closet next to our Library at South Union. They are not all homeless; they are the poor and down trodden also, and in need of your blessings.
Many of our leaders have showed up for this event in the past that is held at least 3 times a year. Praising God and thanking them for that. I pray to see them out again and praying for you all to follow the leader. Speaking of a leader, Jesus always met the need then preached the kingdom of God.
Most of the homeless and needy that will show up, know who we are. We have met their needs the best we could, did a lot of praying for them but have fallen short of preaching the gospel. The Lord has called upon us to take it to the next level. This is not going to be just a pizza party feeding the down trodden so we can feel good about ourselves. We have been called by God almighty! This is just mega physical and divine. Amen
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one who they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15
