Ladies! Join us on June 3 for a trip to Zaharakos Ice Cream Parlor for lunch and ice cream!
Zaharakos has been serving sodas, sundaes, and smiles since 1900 in Columbus, IN.
Step inside to find an ice cream parlor of stained glass, carved oak, and marble. Look for the Tiffany-style lamp and the double soda fountains. Listen to the rich, full sound of the Welte orchestrion. We will leave from the church at 10:30 (carpool or church van) and return around 3:00. Please sign up at the Welcome Center so we will know how many cars we need.
So take a day off from work if you have to and join some sweet ladies from our church for a great day!

Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible – 10:00am to 11:30am
Come join us for our Wed. morning study for some Heart to HeART time from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the basement of the Admin. Building. We will begin a lightARTed summer study! Our study began June 17 and will end on July 29. However, you can join us at any point! Susan Pauly will be leading us through the study, Praying the Names of Jesus by Ann Spangler. We will use this book for daily meditation and class time to connect as we construct simple prayer cards for each of His names. By the end of our 7 weeks together, we will have 26 beautiful cards to help us reflect on the names of Jesus! Here’s a description of the book: Joy, peace, and power—these are only some of the gifts promised to those who trust in the name of the Lord. Praying the Names of Jesus will lead readers into a richer and more rewarding relationship with Christ by helping them to understand and to pray his names on a daily basis. By understanding the biblical context in which these names and titles were revealed, readers will gain a more intimate knowledge of Jesus and of his plan for their lives. They will also begin to see how each of his names holds within it a promise: to be our Teacher, Healer, Friend, and Lord—to be God with Us no matter the circumstances. Prince of Peace, Lamb of God, Bread of Life, Yeshua… through his names and titles, we come to understand more fully how Jesus reveals God’s heart to us. “Praying the Names of Jesus” focuses on twenty-six of his most prominent names and titles to provide six-months worth of devotions. Each week provides a unique devotional program designed for personal prayer and study or for use in small groups. “Praying the Names of Jesus” is the companion volume to the bestselling “Praying the Names of God.” In ways both surprising and profound it reveals a rich portrait of Jesus that will move readers toward a deeper experience of his love and mercy.
